Star Wars for Charity is run by a Fanatical Star Wars Fan to help raise money for Children's Charities. Our aim is to obtain legitimate autographs and Star Wars Memorabilia to auction off, with all profits going to the Children's Charities.

It should be noted that Star Wars 4 Charity is a non-profit making organisation, so whether it is donations of Star Wars autographs and memorabilia or advertising monies from the site, you can guarantee that the Charities will benefit from all the profits made.

The whole concept arose from watching the Children in Need show and wondering how I could do more than phone through a £20 donation. Many good fundraising ideas are undertaken for Children's Charities and after some deliberation, I thought about what I could do that would interest people and get them to put their hands in their pockets.

With such an opportunity, we decided to support 3 charities: Children in Need, Claire house (a local charity) and the NSPCC whose television adverts are so harrowing that they reduce viewers to tears. The FORCE behind this idea goes by the Name "Mark Poe", I have decided against adding a photo as it may be mistaken for a Hutt.

I am 33 years old, married with 2 children, sometimes I think carbonite would be a quieter and less painful option. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I have a really interesting occupation like Movie Mogul or Sith Lord, I am actually a technical services engineer for a Medical Device Manufacturer.
