I would like to apologise to everyone for the lack of updates on the site and I will work on finalising the updated autographs that have been donated as well as give information about the final details for the auctions and the chance to place a reserve bid prior to the start of the auctions.
Not to dampen the spirits too much but we have been disappointed with the lack of response from many of the cast and crew who for whatever reason have decided not to donate to the cause. However, please note that it is not too late to donate to the cause and if you are interested please contact us by e-mail or through our postal address.
For those of you who are interested in bidding for the autographs, please bookmark this site and if you would like to register interest please e-mail us your e-mail address and we will send through updates upto the date of the auctions. Star Wars for Charity is a website designed to help raise money for Children's Charities. Our aim is to obtain legitimate autographs and Star Wars Memorabilia to auction off with all profits going to the Children's Charities.
It should be noted that Star Wars 4 Charity is a non-profit making organisation, so whether it is donations of Star Wars autographs and memorabilia or advertising monies from the site, you can guarantee that the Charities will benefit from all the profits made.
We are currently looking for contact details of Cast and Crew from all 6 movies, so if you are able to help us with information, it is just as important as physical donations.
Also if you are one of the Cast and Crew of the Star Wars films we would appreciate it if you could contact us to discuss the possibility of donating autographs and we would be grateful if you could pass this website information onto other friends or colleagues who may have also been in the films. Any cast or crew who supply us with autographs or memorabilia will have their website entered onto our links pages as well as a big thank you on other pages throughout the site.
We are not only looking to offer links to Cast and Crew websites but also any supporters of this site will have the opportunity to enter their links on this site.
As we receive items, we will put pictures of them on the website for your interest, we must however state that any items we receive will not be for sale until they go to the Charity auction, so please do not contact us for prices. |
